The Vampire Diaries

Who actually knew that The Vampire Diaries tv show was actually books before hitting tv?  I love watching the show when I actually have time to sit down.  So I'm sharing the books with you guys.  I know I will be ordering them really soon as I have yet to read the books myself.  I'm so excited because I bet there is a lot of material that has yet been covered in the show.
