Where's My Water?

A new addicting game I have been playing is Where's My Water? from Disney.  The point of the game is gather 3 ducks with water and get enough to Swampy to fill his bathtub.  It's different obstacles dealing with bombs and poisonous substances for every level.

Where's My Water? one of the 3 different stories you can play.  I haven't bought the other two yet but I have been able to play some levels of Cranky's and Allie's stories and enjoy playing these just as much.  These can be purchased through Where's My Water? app.

I have included a free guide to the game as I know some of the levels can be challenging.

Despicable Me: Minion Rush

Another app to follow suit of Temple Run is Despicable Me:  Minion Rush.  One thing to be grateful for is it is free but it would be well worth the 99 cents if that was the cost.

Now I don't know much about Despicable Me.  I have never seen the movie so I don't know who is who.  Just like in Temple Run, you have a character running an obstacle course.  In this game, it's a Gru running and you're completing missions such as running a 1,000m and collecting so many bananas.  You battle Vector and a new villian named Meena after running so far.  A great game and has me addicted because there are different goals/missions I can do to keep me entertained and I didn't have to pay for it.

Picking Your Battles

I ended up carrying my daughter upside down as she is laughing while going through the grocery store.  That was better instead of her crying which she was doing just moments ago.  An older lady looked at us and says to me, "You have to pick your battles."  So I'm carrying her this way, get my shopping done and go home.

I made meatless spaghetti with vegetables and some plain vegetables for supper and ate my spaghetti that had the vegetables mixed.  I watch my daughter eat all the plain vegetables which contained broccoli, cauliflower and carrots while leaving her noodles and sauced cover vegetables alone and saying yucky.  I didn't push the issue of leaving her other food on the plate because she ate vegetables.  I let her have as much plain vegetables as she wanted.

For bedtime, she threw a fit about going to bed.  She didn't want to lay down in Momma's bed and didn't want to lay down in her bed.  She ended up laying down on the floor in her tent.  Happy medium.  She goes to sleep and I don't didn't care where...For the most part.

As I have been thinking about what this lady said to me, I realized that as a mother, I really do need to pick my battles.  Even at almost 2 years old, I need to think, "What's it going to hurt?"

Monsters Inc.

As my SO and I are talking about Monsters Inc., I just had to prove to him when the movie came out.  It actually came out, into theaters, November 2, 2001.  I had the pleasure of watching the movie in December.  Jesse had actually thought it came it after his middle child was born.  Thank you Google for once again proving I'm right.

It's those little moments when I know my history that makes me go, "Oh yeah."  I'm not really sexist though I may talk like that.  For instance, "If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" is a quote I sometimes throw out there or how we women always trying to find our husbands while shopping.  But as I know how other women feel, at the end of the day, we still love the men in our life.

Easter Baskets

So I just remembered an Easter tip my mom did last year and was really non messy and safe for young children.  I always hated the plastic grass junk in the bottom of the Easter baskets I got as a kid.  I also don't like it because toddlers might try to eat and that's not good considering what could happen but anyway.  My mom put a bandanna in the bottom of the Easter basket.  It was quick and easy and my daughter got a bandanna that she can wear if she wants.
