Tiger the Lifeguard Cat By Richard Cortez
I like to read books to my daughter that teaches life lessons. I know at this age she isn't going to be able to apply them, but the more she hears the stories and as she grows up, she will remember these life lessons and be able to do what's right.
Tiger the Cat is starting his new job as a lifeguard for he just got done with lifeguard school. He had learned about this one dog names Mr. Bulldog who doesn't always follow rules very good and likes to swim even if it is dangerous. There was storm coming in and it was too dangerous for anyone to swim or surf. Mr. Bulldog didn't think so and went out to surf anyway. Tiger noticed something in the water and saw Mr. Bulldog struggling to stay a float. Tiger saved Mr. Bulldog and Mr. Bulldog then started help train people about beach safety. It's a little bit lengthy but it the lesson who doing what's safe is never lengthy to be taught to kids.
