Thanksgiving Cookbooks

I like to try new recipes and it doesn't matter if it is holiday time or not.  Holiday time is better because if you don't like the dish and someone else does, you can pass it on to them.  So as Thanksgiving is approaching, and once again cooking again this year, I'm looking to cookbooks to help save the day and provide something delicious to go along with the turkey.

What Should I Read Next Website

How many people have a hard figuring what book to read next because the book you read was SO GOOD??  I have been there, done that.  Hated ending the book.  There is now a website that can help you. Type in the name of book you just read and it create a list of books like the one you just read.  Simple to use.  How neat is that?

Angry Birds Star Wars

I played a sampler of the Angry Birds Star Wars and LOVE IT!!!!  It's so cool to see the birds as Luke and Obiwan and so on.  It's just like the other games where you have to "kill" the bad piggies.  I can't wait to get the app on my kindle.

Time For Bunny! by Brenda Ponnay

I read a great 3-in-1 book that I got off of amazon.com by Brenda Ponnay.  The one reason I like it was because I had 3 books right there and didn't have to find to another book.  I still read another couple of books.  In the first book, "Time to Get Ready, Bunny", Bunny gets ready for the day.  In the second book, "Time to Eat, Bunny", Bunny gets ready to eat supper.  In the third book, "Time for Bed, Bunny", Bunny gets ready for bed.  I liked how in this book, it ended perfectly with goodnight and so you can use this book to say it's time to go to sleep; good night little one.

Angry Birds

There are tons of Angry Birds Apps available now for kids and kids at heart to play.  The difference between the free ones and the not so free ones are ads.  Ads run in the free versions.  I just posted the free with ads versions of Angry Bird Apps that I could find.

                                                                             

Recipes Books

As I'm getting ready to return to work outside the home, I'm keeping in mind my schedule and needing to have supper ideas that are fast and easy.  Some of these aren't supper but who can't resist a good dessert after some yummy supper?  Hope this helps you out as much as it will me.

App of the Day-Daniel Tiger Neighborhood

I watch PBS with my daughter.  Daniel Tiger Neighborhood has recently started playing and we love it.  Last night I was looking at apps and saw this one and downloaded.  WE LOVE IT!!!  You can play with "stickers", play in Daniel Tiger's room, and other things.

Little Critter Apps

I made a post a while ago about Little Critter books.  I recently discovered Little Critter Apps that make it easy to have the story read to you or you read the story yourself.  It also autoplays the story and when the screen is touched, the story still continues to play.  So nice.  It also counts how many pages you find the frog, mouse or spider.  If something on the picture is clicked, words zoom up telling you what the item is.  A really neat way to learn words.  Great apps and I so recommend them.  Who wouldn't fall in love in with Little Critter?

                                                                                                                                          

Charlie Brown Apps

Everyone LOVES Charlie Brown.  I recently grabbed these two apps and love them.  They tell the story and you can touch the characters and they will do stuff.  Very, very cool.  I recommend these to anyone with a little one.

Amazon now has available a new Kindle Fire that is now in HD.  Depending on what size of screen, and whether it has 4G or not depends on the price.
